Even in the 21st century, girls and women in our country do not have basic hygiene facilities.Talking and tackling menstrual issues is still a big taboo. Dr. Bindu Rana, was invited to be a panelist in New Delhi, with eminent speakers such as Shabana Azmi, Lata Vidyanathan, Meenakshi Lekhi etc.

The prestigious panel discussed about the “Ways to educate both rural and urban girls on Menstrual Problems” and “how to burst some myths surrounding it”. Dr. Bindu Rana, spoke about the need to educate teachers as much as the girls studying in the school and also how the current curriculum must focus more on life skills than on course content.
